By the end of the year, it is planned to increase the number of restaurants in Ukraine to 10 locations. New Pan-Asian cuisine establishments will appear not only in Kyiv, but also in Lviv and Odesa.

“The trend of Pan-Asian cuisine appeared in Ukraine several years ago, but it was represented mainly in the premium segment. We, creating the Meiwei concept, tried to show that this cuisine can be not only tasty, but also affordable,” says Andriy Yanchuk, head of OKKO's restaurant business. “For this, we offer customers several Meiwei formats – a restaurant at a gas station, a city-format establishment, a food court. So that everyone can choose the most convenient option for themselves.”

Earlier, under the Meiwei brand, a restaurant as part of the OKKO gas station at 4a Novokostiantynivska Street in Kyiv (operating since December 2015) and the first city restaurant in the very center of the capital at 23 Velyka Vasylkivska Street (operating since November 2017) were already opened. In addition, Kyiv residents can also use the food delivery service to home or office, launched in the Meiwei network in 2017. According to Andriy Yanchuk, Pan-Asian cuisine has good prospects in Ukraine, and the growth in popularity of the Meiwei brand is a clear evidence of this trend. Thus, over the years of operation of the first restaurant, it was visited by more than 250 thousand guests, 60% of whom became regular customers.

The new, already the third, Meiwei can be visited on the 5th floor of the Gulliver shopping center (1a Sportyvna Square, metro station “Palats Sportu”). Its feature is the express format. The menu of this food court features dishes that take just a few minutes to prepare. Guests here can both have a quick snack while shopping and have a full lunch or dinner.
