Such plans were announced by the head of the sales department of MAZ trucks Vitaly Chernyavsky.
Vitaly Chernyavsky emphasized that today sales volumes are already significantly higher than last year, and the approaching harvest season will additionally increase demand. The manufacturer plans to increase its market share from 21% to at least 23-25%.
At the international agro-industrial exhibition AGRO-2017, which is taking place these days in Kyiv, the MAZ exposition is very popular among visitors, which clearly confirms the high demand for Belarusian machinery in Ukraine.
Grain trucks are of particular interest on the eve of the harvest.
For example, a joint Ukrainian-Belarusian project is the AC-1422 grain truck with a load capacity of 14 tons, with a dump trailer for another 14 tons. The model is equipped with a YaMZ engine with a power of 328 hp. An important advantage of the new product is the high level of Ukrainian localization, which makes it possible to receive compensation from the state in the amount of 20% of the model's cost.
Also presented was a two-axle agricultural dump truck built on the basis of the MAZ-4381N2 chassis. The medium-tonnage model with a load capacity of 5.3 tons is built at a plant in Ukraine. For the new product, two engines of 170 or 177 hp are offered, aggregated with a 6-speed gearbox.
The MAZ-6501 grain dump truck with a load capacity of 19 tons attracted attention. The model is equipped with a modern 420-horsepower engine that meets Euro-5 environmental standards, paired with a 16-speed German ZF transmission.
