The cuisine of one of the most famous gastronomic regions of Italy is as sunny and cheerful as the local climate and the character of Sicilians. Local chefs will be happy to treat their guests to dishes rich in vegetables and fish, generously seasoned with aromatic spices. So now visitors to Pasta Mia restaurants can also feel these bright, expressive, and sometimes unexpected flavors.
The most popular vegetable in Sicily is eggplant, of which dozens of different varieties are grown in the region. As part of the new flavor festival, Pasta Mia guests will be offered a spicy eggplant cream soup and aromatic pizza with eggplant and bolognese sauce. The soup is prepared with cream, spices, and fresh herbs, which give it a delicate and at the same time bright taste, served hot with grissini.
