The last one off the production line was the sDdrive35is roadster in Valencia Orange Metallic. Under the hood is a three-liter gasoline engine N54 with six cylinders.
From now on, production cars of the German brand will not be equipped with such an engine.
BMW is currently actively testing the future replacement for the Z4 roadster. The official presentation of the new model is scheduled for the end of 2017. The car is being developed on a completely new architecture, which was created jointly with Toyota.
In the production version, the model will likely receive the new designation Z5. It is expected that the car will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain and all-wheel drive system.
