The output of the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 was increased from 560 to 830 horsepower. The increase in engine output was achieved by installing larger turbochargers and an upgraded exhaust system.
The modified BMW M5 can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds, and acceleration from standstill to 200 km/h takes about ten seconds. There is no data yet on the sedan's top speed.

The new model also received a carbon fiber aerodynamic body kit from the Japanese company 3DDesign. It includes front and rear spoilers, side skirts, and a rear diffuser.
Earlier, the studio Carbonfiber Dynamics presented a tuning program for the "charged" BMW M4 coupe. The power of the three-liter twin-turbo "six" was increased from 431 to 700 horsepower.
