The modular platform of the new generation BMW 7 Series will be used as the basis for creating the largest crossover in the Bavarian lineup. In addition, the BMW X7 will also get six- and eight-cylinder powertrains.

Unlike the X7, the Rolls-Royce crossover will get a 12-cylinder engine. So the model released under the English brand can safely be called the top version of the BMW X7. And they will compete with the Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-Benz GL and Range Rover.
When the American plant will begin assembling the largest model of the Bavarians is still unknown, but for now the BMW X5 and X6 are coming off the assembly line in South Carolina.
