Both new models are already accepting orders, and the first deliveries to customers are expected in April this year. The mid-size crossover RDX will be sold in only one version, priced at $64,500. Its direct competitors include the Lexus RX and Infiniti QX50.

The more spacious seven-seat MDX will please buyers with a choice of two trim levels — Techno and Advance. The price tag here is slightly higher: $69,900 and $77,900 respectively. The main competitors for the Acura MDX are the Infiniti JX, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Lexus GX and Volkswagen Touareg.

Under the hood of both models is almost identical powertrain — a gasoline V6 with a displacement of 3.5 liters, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The only difference is in engine output: the RDX is content with 273 horsepower and a torque of 340 Nm, while the MDX has a more powerful unit — 290 hp and 355 Nm.

The acceleration dynamics of the crossovers also differ slightly: the RDX reaches 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, while the MDX does it in 7.6 seconds. The interiors of both cars are finished to the highest standard, corresponding to the premium class, and the most expensive version of the MDX includes surround-view cameras, LED headlights, adaptive cruise control and other options.
