The press service of the Anti-Corruption Committee for Combating Corruption in Government Bodies found that over the past 4 years, officials deliberately bankrupted the once-famous Dovzhenko film studio. In 2010, the enterprise's fleet of 27 cars was pledged to the commercial bank Cambio.

The loan, of course, was not repaid, and all the cars were bought out by the charitable foundation for the support of the development of Odesa cinema, headed by director Denys Loshakov. The committee emphasized that the cars were sold to Loshakov's foundation at a price approximately 10 times lower than the market value. Among them were 2 Soviet Chaikas and one ZIL-114.
Those who bankrupted the film studio were interested in its land. But valuable property was the first to come under the attack of "businessmen" from the authorities. Already after Loshakov bought all the rarities of Dovzhenko, some of the cars ended up in Viktor Yanukovych's garage. On what grounds they got to the "guarantor" is still unknown.

At the moment, three cars that previously belonged to the film studio and ended up in Mezhyhirya are known, but it is quite possible that there are more. Dovzhenko was saved from complete plunder and oblivion only by the hasty flight of the "guarantor", because the final bankruptcy awaited the domestic "dream factory" already after Yanukovych's second inauguration.
