The idea of selling a not-so-needed organ to raise the necessary amount is not new in itself, but usually such a decision is associated with the extremely difficult situation of the one who takes such a step. American Mike Parisi greatly surprised the public by declaring his readiness to part with one of his testicles for medical purposes in order to spend the proceeds on a car.
The most curious thing is that Mike told about his idea live, appearing on the program "Doctors" on NBC. Astonishment gripped not only the audience and invited guests, but even the seasoned hosts, one of whom inappropriately asked: "A Nissan for the left one?".
After the broadcast, viewers literally flooded the show's website with angry comments. However, what offended them most was their compatriot's choice: "How can one give a testicle for a Nissan?" — that was the message of their posts.
Parisi tried to explain his decision by practicality, saying that the amount raised is just enough for the base trim of the Nissan 370Z... But he would have been better off keeping his mouth shut.
