With the approach of cold weather, the load on the car battery increases noticeably, and an old battery may simply not cope with it. That is why many drivers prefer to take care in advance of replacing a worn-out power source with a fresher and more reliable one.

Some drivers opt for inexpensive lead-acid batteries, others choose premium maintenance-free AGM batteries, the price difference between which can reach 200–300%.
