As previously reported, the designers were tasked with creating an exterior not only for the presidential limousine, but also for an SUV and a minivan intended for escort vehicles. All three vehicles had to be designed in a unified style.

The competition brought together both professional automotive designers and enthusiasts from various countries. As a result of the contest, the top award was shared between Yaroslav Yakovlev from Russia and Bernd Weel from the Netherlands. Each of the winners received 150 thousand rubles.

The second place was taken by Russians Ivan Volkov and Yuri Baskakov, who were awarded 75 thousand rubles each. The third place went to Marcel Sebastien from Hungary, who received 50 thousand rubles. About a billion rubles were allocated for the implementation of the project as a whole.

The question of which company will undertake the production of cars for the Russian leadership remains open. Among the possible contractors are Marussia, the GAZ Group, and ZiL.
