The new P7 no longer repeats the features of Japanese, American, or European cars — it is a completely independent development that claims to be one of the most refined models on the market. In the exterior, everything is balanced: proportions are harmonious, lines are laconic, and the silhouette is clearly outlined in a two-box format. The optics at the front and rear are made in the form of H-shaped LED compositions, and the front headlights are connected by a solid panel 1.4 meters wide. Active air intakes are installed in the front bumper: in everyday driving, they are hidden behind glossy blinds and open only at high speed.
The dimensions of the new P7 are 5017 × 1970 × 1427 mm, and the wheelbase is 3008 mm. Compared to the previous version, the car has become 137 mm longer and 74 mm wider, while the height has decreased by 23 mm, and the wheelbase has shortened by 10 mm. The body has excellent aerodynamics: the drag coefficient Cd is 0.201, which positively affects energy consumption on the highway. An active spoiler is located on the trunk lid.
Inside, there is a digital instrument panel with a diagonal of 8.8 inches, a multimedia system with a 15.6-inch screen, and a projection display of 87 inches. Three Xiaopeng Turing chips and one Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P are responsible for the operation of the systems. The trunk holds 575 liters in the normal state, and with the rear seats folded, it is 1929 liters. Even in the base configuration, there is a panoramic roof with three-layer glass.
The second-generation P7 is based on the proprietary Xpeng platform with an 800-volt electrical architecture. The standard modification received one electric motor and rear-wheel drive with a power of 367 hp, and the battery can be lithium iron phosphate or lithium-ion. The older version has two motors and all-wheel drive, with a total output of 595 hp, and a lithium-ion battery is available at 74.9 or 92.2 kWh. The range varies from 702 to 820 km, and you can replenish the charge from 10% to 80% at a fast station in 11.3 minutes.
According to Chinese publications, the starting price of the P7 is 249,900 yuan, which is approximately 1.38 million hryvnias. To reserve a car, you need to make a prepayment of 3,000 yuan, which is about 16.5 thousand hryvnias.
