Mazda has updated the equipment of the CX-5 for the 2027 model year. All versions received multimedia software with support for the Google Gemini AI voice assistant, and the starting price in the US is $31,485 including delivery. This is reported by Carscoops.

The voice assistant in the Mazda CX-5 allows you to address the system with requests similar to those a user makes on a smartphone with Google. Gemini support is provided in all trim levels of the crossover.
The powertrain of the Mazda CX-5 consists of a 2.5-liter gasoline four-cylinder engine and a six-speed automatic. The engine develops 187 hp and approximately 252 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive is included in the standard equipment of all versions.
The exterior of the Mazda CX-5 has not changed significantly. The base set of driver assistance systems includes:
adaptive cruise control;
traffic sign recognition and speed limit assist;
