The British publication What Car? has compiled a list of ten electric cars that can boast the longest driving range. The leaders of this list surprise with their results: some cars are capable of covering more than 700 kilometers without recharging, making them worthy rivals to conventional cars with petrol or diesel engines.

The top ten electric cars with the maximum driving range looks like this:

  • Mercedes-Benz CLA – 779 km

  • Mercedes-Benz EQS – 774 km

  • DS No8 – 750 km

  • Audi A6 e-tron – 747 km

  • Polestar 3 – 705 km

  • Tesla Model 3 – 702 km

  • Peugeot e-3008 – 700 km

  • Volkswagen ID.7 – 698 km

  • Mercedes-Benz EQE – 690 km

  • BMW iX – 686 km

The new third-generation Mercedes-Benz CLA deserves special attention, as starting from 2025 it is produced for the first time in a purely electric version. Its most powerful variant allows you to travel almost 780 kilometers without recharging — this result puts this electric car among the most "long-range" offerings on the market.
