The project was named TAVRIA NOVA. According to the concept, it is an electric hatchback. Apparently, the author was inspired by modern trends in the automotive industry and the environmental policies of a number of world countries. The latter, by the way, includes Ukraine – let us recall that the Ministry of Infrastructure has already developed a draft law, according to which it is planned to introduce a ban on the import and registration of gasoline and diesel cars from 2030.

However, let us return to the car itself. As you can see, TAVRIA Nova is made in a retro style – the same solutions as the original Tavria can be traced (similar lights, characteristic wheel rims). Moreover, the electric car even inherited the form factor and three-door body. But what is new is the crossover body kit and high ground clearance.
Whether TAVRIA NOVA will appear in metal is hard to say. However, there is always a chance. Moreover, recently ZAZ has begun to show signs of life – since 2020, the enterprise has revived the production of passenger cars (this is a large-unit assembly of Lada models, the Renault Arkana crossover, as well as the Kia Rio sedan and the Rio X cross-hatch), and plans to increase production volumes to 10,000 cars per year in the future.
Let us recall that the original ZAZ-1102 Tavria was produced from 1987 to 1998.
