In January–September 2026, Ukrainians purchased 46,500 imported used passenger cars under five years old. This is 26% of the total 176,300 used cars that joined the fleet from abroad during this period. This is reported by Ukravtoprom.
Imported cars under 5 years old: petrol models retain the lead
Almost half of the imported cars of this age have petrol engines. Electric vehicles took second place, ahead of hybrids. The shares by type of power unit were distributed as follows:
petrol cars: 46%;
electric vehicles: 29%;
hybrids: 19%;
diesel cars: 5%;
LPG cars: 1%.
Most popular used models: Tesla Model Y ahead of Nissan Rogue
The leader among imported passenger cars under five years old was the Tesla Model Y with a result of 2,813 cars. Second place went to the Nissan Rogue, and third went to the Volkswagen Tiguan.
