As announced by Skoda CEO Thomas Schäfer, by 2030 the company will introduce at least three more electric vehicles. At the same time, they will be smaller and cheaper than the aforementioned Enyaq iV. The latter, by the way, costs from 33.8 thousand euros in Europe.

There are no other details about the upcoming Skoda electric vehicles yet. There is only an assumption that one of the models will be a small hatchback, and another will be a subcompact crossover. As for the third "electric car", it is expected to be a "battery" analogue of the Octavia (an important detail: the upcoming EV will share only its segment with the brand's bestseller, while in all other respects both cars will differ significantly).

In general, Skoda has Napoleonic plans: by 2030 it plans to achieve sales of 1.5 million cars per year. At the same time, the company expects that by the end of the decade, 50-70% of its sales in Europe will be electric cars. In addition to the Old World, the manufacturer has big plans for China, but it still does not intend to enter the North American market.

Note that Skoda Enyaq iV went into production last autumn. This is the brand's first mass-produced electric vehicle. However, the true electric pioneer of the brand is the city car Skoda Citigo-e iV, which was produced in 2019-2020.
