The new Volkswagen ID.4 GTX has received two motors (one per axle) with a total output of 295 hp – the same powertrain as the new Audi Q4 e-tron. The all-wheel-drive Volkswagen electric car accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.2 seconds, and its top speed is limited to 180 km/h.

The 82 kWh battery provides a range of 480 km on the WLTP cycle. The electric car supports fast 125-kilowatt charging: in this case, the charge can be replenished by 60% in half an hour.

The new Volkswagen ID.4 GTX can be distinguished from the standard crossover by modified bumpers, an enlarged roof spoiler, and 20-inch wheels (21-inch wheels are an option).

The interior is upholstered in leather with red stitching, and the ambient lighting can change color. The equipment list has also been expanded with matrix headlights and a heated steering wheel. In addition, a Sport package is available with adaptive dampers and a reduced ground clearance of 15 mm.

Soon, other Volkswagen electric vehicles will receive similar versions. GTX will become a kind of analogue of GTI for the brand's petrol models.
