In particular, the specialized automotive publication Carscoops wrote about it. As our colleagues note in their article, Europe is currently experiencing a real plague of accidents involving Mustangs, and the case in Ukraine was no exception.

Carscoops wrote the following verbatim:

«The incident occurred in the city of Kyiv, Ukraine. As is often the case in Mustang accidents, the driver apparently tried to impress those around him, but lost control on a wet road».

And this is how journalists commented on the accident video (in the same news), which later appeared online:

«At first, you can see the Mustang pulling out from the roadside and accelerating along the highway. When the driver picks up a little speed, the rear of the muscle car starts to sway, but instead of easing off the gas, the driver continues to accelerate, causing the rear wheels to lose traction and the "tail" to slide even more [this sequence of actions helps to get out of a skid in a front-wheel-drive car, but not in a rear-wheel-drive one, which the Mustang is – ed.]. Failing to correct the skid, the driver presses the brake pedal and crashes into a pole near a bus stop».

As for the accident itself, let us remind you that, according to AvtoPortal, the driver wrecked the Ford Mustang just two hours after renting it. The car belonged to Exotic Cars, a company specializing in renting exclusive supercars, luxury sedans and SUVs, and other vehicles. It is known that the convertible will be written off – its front part was severely damaged (the bumper was smashed, the headlights flew out, the hood was crumpled, the front bumper reinforcement and even the engine were affected), and the driver's airbag also deployed.
