As can be seen in the photos, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 looks even brighter in person than in the presentation pictures shown during the premiere. The assessment is subjective, but many will surely agree with it.

By the way, the charismatic design has become one of the reasons for the high demand for this electric car. In its native South Korea alone, on the first day, 25 thousand people ordered the new model, even though Hyundai planned to produce only 26.5 thousand "fifth Ioniqs" in a year.

In addition to its appearance, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is also interesting for its technical part: it is the first model of the Hyundai Motor Group built on the E-GMP platform – this chassis was created specifically for electric vehicles, and the use of an internal combustion engine is not provided for in the design at all. The use of such an architecture allowed engineers to achieve a huge wheelbase of 3 meters and a large interior space with relatively average external dimensions of the car (4.63 x 1.6 x 1.89 m).

For the Hyundai Ioniq 5, two batteries are available for the buyer to choose from – 58 and 72.6 kWh (maximum range – 480 km according to the WLTP cycle). At the same time, there are both single-motor and dual-motor versions, with a power range from 168 to 302 hp (350 Nm and 650 Nm, respectively). More details about the characteristics of the new Hyundai electric car can be read here.

You can buy the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in the coming months. In Europe, the price of the electric car starts from 41.9 thousand euros.
