The public debut of the electric pickup will take place in September, and serial production will begin in the first half of next year at the Detroit/Hamtramck plant located in Michigan. The company spent $2.2 billion on modernizing this plant. In addition, the same site will produce electric versions of the Cadillac Escalade SUV and the GMC Sierra pickup.
The combined output of the GMC Hummer EV electric motors reaches 1014 horsepower, and the torque figure is 15,592 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes about three seconds, and the range is enough for 650 kilometers.
As for the electric Hummer SUV, which also caught the camera's lens, there are no details yet. The dates of its premiere and other data remain unknown.
