As Carscoops reports, the owner of the damaged Hummer was one of those who decided to stock up on fuel due to the spontaneously arising fuel crisis in the eastern United States (we wrote about it in detail in this article). The American loaded the SUV's trunk full of gasoline (four canisters of 19 liters each, totaling 76 liters), but did not make it to the destination - on the way, the car was engulfed in flames.

Firefighters soon arrived at the scene, and it took them 20 minutes to extinguish the vehicle. By that time, the Hummer had, unfortunately, turned into a pile of metal. The photos show the completely burnt-out body of the car, as well as melted plastic canisters.
The exact cause of the fire is not known, but it is obvious that it happened due to violations of safety regulations and rules for transporting fuel.
