The Mokka is the first Opel to adopt the new corporate style called Vizor. The LED headlights and the radiator grille are now combined into a single unit. According to the project's chief designer Mark Adams, the first-generation Manta model served as a source of inspiration for the Mokka's exterior.

The interior of the new model is adorned with the Pure Panel instrument cluster, which combines a 12-inch screen for virtual instruments with a touchscreen for the media center. The driver has access to a traffic sign recognition system, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and a rear-view camera with a 180-degree panoramic view.
