The restyled Arteon features new headlights and a modified radiator grille. The Shooting Brake wagon is almost identical to the liftback in dimensions, but offers a more spacious trunk, with a maximum volume of 1632 liters (compared to 1557 liters for the liftback).
Inside, the front panel has been updated, a new touch-sensitive climate control unit and a different steering wheel have appeared, as well as a new MIB3 media center with an 8.0- or 9.2-inch screen.
The engine lineup of the updated Arteon consists of two 2.0 TSI turbo engines with 190 and 280 hp, as well as a pair of two-liter diesels with 150 and 200 hp.
In addition, a hybrid modification with a 1.4-liter TSI engine and an electric motor has appeared. The total power of the power unit is 218 hp. On electric power alone, the all-wheel-drive hybrid can travel 50 km.
The top version of the Arteon is now the "charged" Arteon R, which is equipped with a two-liter turbo engine with 320 hp and a 7-speed DSG "robot" transmission.
European sales of the updated Volkswagen Arteon will start this autumn.
