The Opel electric car is essentially the German version of the Citroen Ami. The car is only 2.41 m long, 1.39 m wide, and 1.52 m high, and its weight is only 425 kg.

From its sibling, the Opel Rocks-e differs only in the body decor. Like the Citroen, it has asymmetric doors that open in different directions.

The electric motor with 8 hp allows reaching 45 km/h. The new Opel Rocks-e was made so low-powered intentionally, because in this case, in many EU countries, a driver's license is not required to drive it.

The lithium-ion battery with 5.5 kWh provides a range of 75 km (WLTP cycle), and it can be charged in just 3.5 hours.
The Opel Rocks-e electric car will go on sale in Germany in the fall. In other countries, it will appear in 2022.
