The new Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD is aimed at connoisseurs of old-school supercars — with a naturally aspirated engine and classic rear-wheel drive. The car retains the same 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, but compared to the all-wheel drive version, its characteristics are slightly reduced — it now develops 610 horsepower at 8000 rpm and a torque of 560 Nm at 6500 rpm. The gearbox remains the same — a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The rear-wheel drive transmission, according to Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domenicali, promises the driver "unfiltered feedback and more thrilling emotions." The new traction control system has been developed and calibrated specifically for the rear-wheel drive transmission to ensure more even and powerful traction when accelerating out of corners. The weight of the Huracan Evo RWD is 1,389 kilograms (33 kilograms less compared to the "regular" Huracan Evo).

The lightweight supercar can accelerate from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds (the all-wheel drive version does this exercise in 2.9 seconds) and reach a top speed of 325 kilometers per hour. Although at first glance the RWD version is hard to distinguish from the standard Evo, it has a new front splitter, vertical aerodynamic elements in the front air intakes, and a new rear diffuser. Production of the Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD will begin in the spring of this year.
