Electric vehicles have increased their range without recharging, and the list of available equipment now includes the S line exterior package.
From now on, the Audi e-tron 55 quattro's WLTP range is 436 kilometers, which is 25 kilometers more than before. This was achieved by updating the brake mechanisms and reducing the effect of the so-called residual brake torque—that is, reducing energy losses caused by the pads being too close to the rotors. In addition, engineers rewrote the electric motor control program and taught the front axle unit to completely disconnect from the power supply system.

Additionally, the Audi e-tron has been equipped with a modernized cooling system with four separate circuits. Here, the fluid flow volume had to be reduced, thereby reducing the load on the pump. To warm the interior, the heat generated by the battery is still used. Depending on the temperature, this can increase the electric crossover's range by another 10 percent. Finally, there are now more differences between the recuperation modes.
The new S line exterior package should add sporty notes to the Audi e-tron's appearance. It includes 20-inch wheels, sport air suspension, and a new front bumper with enlarged air intakes. Additionally, the mirror housings, the Singleframe grille surround, side window trim, and bumper trim can be painted black.
Simultaneously with the technical update, sales of the junior e-tron 50 quattro modifications have started. They are equipped with a powertrain with a total output of 313 horsepower and 540 Nm, as well as a 71-kilowatt-hour battery. The crossover in a regular body costs from 69,100 euros in Germany, and the Sportback from 71,250 euros.
