Every day the enterprise will produce 1,150 cars, which on an annual basis will amount to approximately 400 thousand vehicles. The first generation of the modern Octavia rolled off the assembly line more than two decades ago. Since then, the total production run of the model has exceeded 6.5 million units, and it has secured a place on the bestseller lists in several European markets, including the Czech Republic, Austria, Finland, and Switzerland.

The fourth generation of the Skoda Octavia debuted in the Czech capital in the first days of November. The new model, built on the updated MQB architecture, has grown by 1.9 cm in length (for the estate version this figure was 2.2 cm), and the body width has increased by 1.5 cm. The wheelbase reaches 2686 mm. The liftback's luggage compartment holds 600 liters, while the estate's volume is 40 liters more.

The Octavia's equipment includes a virtual instrument panel, and the multimedia system has received a 10-inch screen with customizable graphics. The interior features a two-spoke steering wheel, and the familiar automatic transmission lever has given way to a compact selector, similar to the one used in Audi models.
