The company noted that the car was developed "without regard to the rules and restrictions established by racing competitions."

The supercar received a refined aerodynamic "feathering" that significantly increases downforce. It includes a new rear wing with two sections, an enlarged front splitter, additional elements on the fenders, as well as a different rear diffuser and a massive air intake on the roof.
The car's construction has become lighter by almost 100 kilograms. The Ford GT MK II is equipped with DSSV shock absorbers, carbon-ceramic brake mechanisms, and Michelin Pilot Sport GT tires.

The Ford GT MK II is powered by an upgraded 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing over 700 horsepower. This is 50 horsepower more than the output of the "civilian" car's engine and 200 horsepower more powerful than the GTE racing version. The unit uses enlarged air radiators and a water injection system to improve thermal management.
A total of 45 such cars will be produced. The cost of the extreme track supercar will be $1.2 million.
