The compact sedan CT4 is designed to replace the discontinued ATS model, which was not very popular. First, the Americans decided to show the V-modification of the car, but the standard model should also debut in the near future.

The company noted that thanks to the use of a sporty chassis, engineers managed to achieve almost perfect weight distribution along the axles, which is close to 50:50. The four exhaust pipes and a small spoiler on the trunk lid also indicate that it belongs to the V-series.

The Cadillac CT4-V is equipped with a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 324 hp and 500 Nm of torque. For comparison, the 3.6-liter V6 engine of the predecessor ATS-V produced 470 hp and 603 Nm.

As for the Cadillac CT5-V sedan, it is equipped with a three-liter twin-turbo engine producing 360 hp and 542 Nm — 289 hp and 311 Nm weaker than the engine of the previous CTS-V.

The engines of both sedans work together with a 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available only as an option. In addition, for an additional fee, the cars can be equipped with front Brembo brake mechanisms, Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension, and a rear self-locking differential.
