The new Highlander is built on the TNGA (Toyota New Global Architecture) modular platform, which is also used by the Camry and RAV4 models. Compared to its predecessor, the new model has grown slightly in size. The crossover's length has increased by 60 mm, and the trunk volume is now 456 liters. If you fold down the second and third row seats, this figure exceeds 2 thousand liters.
