The car will most likely be shown to the general public at the Geneva Motor Show in March. In the Skoda model lineup, the car will replace the Rapid.

The new model will use the same design language as the Vision RS presented at the Paris Motor Show. The car will be built on the A0 MQB platform. This chassis already underpins a number of compact and mid-size cars from the new Volkswagen Polo to the Skoda Kodiaq crossover. All other information about the future model is still kept secret.

According to unofficial data, the engine lineup will include new 1.5-liter petrol turbo engines, which, depending on the modification, develop from 125 to 150 horsepower. The engines will work with a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed automatic with dual clutch. It is expected that the new model will be larger in overall dimensions than the current Rapid.
