According to information published by AutoWeek, the public showing of the car is scheduled for the October Paris Motor Show. If the published image is to be believed, the model will feature a modified front bumper and a chrome radiator grille.

It is expected that under the hood of the new product will be a 1.6-liter gasoline engine equipped with turbocharging. Its output will reach 200 horsepower.

In addition, the Korean brand intends to launch into serial production another variant of the third-generation Ceed — a version with a "Shooting Brake" body. Its debut will also take place in the fall as part of the Paris Motor Show. A conceptual version of such a car was demonstrated back in September of last year at the exhibition in Frankfurt. That show car, named Proceed, was developed in Kia's European design division. The creators themselves described it as an "elongated hot hatch."

Next year, the Ceed lineup will be supplemented by a variant with a hybrid power plant operating on a mild hybrid scheme. Internal combustion will be assisted by a 48-volt onboard electrical network, which will improve the car's efficiency and reduce the amount of harmful emissions into the atmosphere.
