The new prototype will join the lineup of concept models, which already includes the "retro" electric car Prototype 9 and the Q Inspiration model, demonstrating a fresh take on the brand's design language.

"This concept shows the direction Infiniti is moving," comments Karim Habib, head of design. "We see electrification not just as a trend, but as a way to make cars more dynamic: they will be powerful, efficient, and truly exciting to drive. This prototype is the physical embodiment of our electric future."

The Prototype 9 premiered in August of last year. As the company explained, the model is conceived as a tribute to racing cars of the 1940s, although the brand itself only appeared in 1989. Under the hood of the Prototype 9 is a powertrain from the Nissan Leaf, producing 150 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. With this unit, the electric car reaches 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, and its top speed is limited to 170 km/h.
