The new coupe-shaped crossover will be built on the QX50 platform and will replace the FX model in the current lineup. Under the hood will be a two-liter turbocharged engine with variable compression ratio, producing 272 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
The presentation of the Infiniti QX55 will take place online on November 11. Initially, the show was scheduled for spring, but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Assembly of the Infiniti QX55 will be organized at the plant in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The model will appear on the American market in December.
