Century is the oldest Toyota model, which has been in production for more than half a century — since 1967. Cars of this family are used by the top Japanese leadership, as well as the imperial family.
The new generation sedan debuted in autumn 2017 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The interior features four separate seats upholstered in 100% wool. The chairs are equipped with electrically adjustable footrests and a massage function. Rear passengers have at their disposal a huge 11.6-inch display of the infotainment system, an audio system with 20 speakers, as well as a seven-inch touch panel between the seats, which can be used to control various functions.

In addition, the Toyota Century received an active noise cancellation system that generates sound from the speakers in antiphase, as well as unique tires that not only "dampen" road surface irregularities.

The sedan is offered with a hybrid powertrain, which includes a five-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with 380 hp and a 165-kilowatt electric motor. In total, the units produce 431 horsepower.
Toyota plans to sell no more than 50 such cars monthly. The possibility of supplying the new generation Century sedan to other markets has not yet been reported.
