The new Veloster retains its recognizable silhouette and asymmetric layout with two right doors and one left door.

The Veloster is based on the same upgraded platform, but the model's dimensions have changed. Length increased by 19 mm (4239 mm), while the wheelbase decreased by 8 mm (2642 mm). Width also decreased by 12 mm (1778 mm).
The interior looks more solid and sporty. A premium Infiniti audio system is now available, and the multimedia system screen can be seven or eight inches.

The interior of the N variant features sport seats, a modified steering wheel with additional drive mode selection buttons, and a different instrument panel design.
The base Veloster is equipped with a two-liter engine producing 149 hp and 179 Nm. Transmissions are a six-speed manual or automatic.
The 204-horsepower 1.6 T-GDI turbo engine is offered for the more "heated" versions of the Veloster: Turbo, R-Spec, and Turbo Ultimate. These modifications also feature a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission instead of an automatic, as well as a stiffer suspension, different steering settings, and an improved braking system.

The sport variant Veloster N is equipped with a two-liter turbo engine producing 275 hp and 353 Nm of torque. Only a six-speed manual transmission is available. The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the model's dynamic performance.
Production of the new Hyundai Veloster starts in March. Prices will be announced closer to spring.
