Volvo plans to start production of the next generation XC90 crossover at the brand's first American plant.
The release of the new XC90 is scheduled to start in 2021 at the plant in Charleston, located on the east coast of South Carolina.
More than one billion dollars are planned to be invested in the new plant, and its production capacity should be 150 thousand cars per year.
