The second generation of the model turned out to be quite similar to the flagship crossover XC90. The new XC60 is longer and wider than its predecessor, but at the same time it has become half a centimeter lower.

The interior of the crossover is also clearly inspired by the "big brother" and now boasts a new multimedia system with an impressive screen and four-zone climate control.

In addition, the XC90 shared with the newcomer the modular SPA platform and a range of turbo engines, consisting of gasoline engines with 254 and 320 hp, as well as two diesels with 190 and 235 hp. The top version T8 TwinEngine received a hybrid powertrain producing 407 hp and 640 Nm of torque.

The list of options has been expanded with the Pilot Assist system, which can accelerate, brake and keep the car in its lane.
Production of the new Volvo XC60 will begin next month. Prices have not yet been published.
