The designers tried to make the Velar's body as streamlined as possible, so even the crossover's door handles are retractable, like on electric cars from Tesla. One of the model's highlights are contrasting inserts on various body elements, imitating copper trim.

In the cabin, there are practically no buttons, as control of all functions is assigned to two 10-inch touchscreens. Another feature of the interior is the special Dapple Grey fabric upholstery for the seats, created as a worthy alternative to leather.

The crossover's engine range will consist of five power units, starting with a 200-horsepower diesel and ending with a three-liter turbo engine producing 380 hp.
