Interestingly, the new model was presented exclusively in the high-performance Quadrifoglio Verde trim.

According to the brand, the Giulia is the first mass-produced model in the brand's recent history, and it is this model that is expected to become the economic flagship of Alfa Romeo's revival. The new model will compete for an audience with such established cars as the Mercedes C-Class, BMW 3-Series, Audi A4, and Jaguar XE.

The car is built on a fundamentally new platform and will be available with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive depending on the modification. Importantly, the car has an ideal weight distribution across the axles – 50:50. The weight of the Alfa Romeo Giulia is 1530 kg (referring to the presented version).

The manufacturer has not yet disclosed the range of engines. At the moment, only the engine for the "hot" version is known – a 3.0-liter twin-turbo "six" with 510 hp, developed by Ferrari and Maserati specialists. With this unit, the car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The transmission range includes a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic. The Alfa Romeo Giulia in the Quadrifoglio Verde version will compete with the Mercedes-AMG C 63 and BMW M3. The sedan has four driving modes: Dynamic, Natural, Efficient, and Racing.
