The first photos of the Alfa Romeo Tonale have already appeared online, and they show that the crossover differs little in appearance from the pre-production concept. It has a long hood, narrow headlights, and rear door handles hidden in the pillars.
There are no interior photos, but it is expected that the compact Alfa Romeo crossover will get a virtual instrument cluster and a large 10.25-inch touchscreen.
Most likely, the new Alfa Romeo Tonale will be a close relative of the Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade – the platform will be borrowed from them. The model will be available with 1.3-liter turbocharged gasoline engines (130-180 hp).
Later, plug-in hybrids with 190 and 240 hp will appear, capable of traveling about 40 km without recharging. Versions with front- and all-wheel drive are planned.
