Alfa Romeo presented the Cuorerosso concept, which demonstrates the possible direction of development for the successor to the Giulia. The design prototype will debut at the Paris Motor Show on October 12-18, 2026, and is built on the STLA Large platform, designed for various powertrains.
The Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso concept shows the future of the Giulia

The four-door Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso has a body in Liquid Ink Red. At the front, the signature scudetto grille with an integrated emblem is retained, and the hood has a pronounced V-shape. At the rear, round lights are installed, while the doors that open toward each other remain a conceptual solution.
The interior features four sports seats with developed lateral support. The architecture of the front panel references the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, and the central element is a large round digital instrument display.

Historical motifs are continued by the large wheels with a telephone dial design. A similar style was used on the original Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale in the late 1960s.
The successor to the Alfa Romeo Giulia may retain the V6 engine
The manufacturer has not disclosed the full technical specifications of the Alfa Romeo Cuorerosso. It is known that the STLA Large platform allows for the installation of a modernized version of the V6 used in the current Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio.

The concept is also equipped with steer-by-wire electronic steering without a mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, and sports air suspension.
The timing of the release of the next generation of the Alfa Romeo Giulia has not yet been announced. According to the source, production of the current model is set to end at the end of 2027.
