According to the manufacturer, the new XC90 is also a revolutionary car in its segment. However, the best recognition is the buyer's choice. At the time of the presentation, already 44 (!) cars have found their owners. True, the prices can also be called democratic for this segment. The price of the new XC90 starts from 1,246,550 hryvnias. But often connoisseurs of the XC90 choose much more expensive versions.
In general, the concept of "trim level" for Volvo is quite conditional. The buyer can order almost anything they wish.
Today, the cheapest version of the car for 1,246,550 UAH is the XC90 Momentum trim in a 5-seat configuration, equipped with a diesel engine with a volume of 1969 cc, power of 190 hp, and torque of 400 Nm. It has an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The most expensive trim can be in two variants: XC90 Inscription (7-seat, petrol engine 1969 cc with 376 hp and 8-speed automatic transmission) and XC90 R-Design. In any case, it is better to discuss the trim options and final cost in more detail with your nearest dealer.
Externally, the car is quite attractive and modern, although sometimes there are exclamations of dissatisfaction from some readers. But in fact, talking about appearance is a thankless task. In Ukraine, the Volvo XC90 is presented with several engine options: D5 is a diesel engine with twin turbocharging, power of 225 hp and torque of 470 Nm. It has the best fuel consumption parameters in its class: about 6 l/100 km. The car can also be equipped with the D4 engine (190 hp, 400 Nm) with fuel consumption of only about 5 l/100 km.
The engine lineup will also include two petrol options. The T6 model with turbocharging and supercharger (power 320 hp and maximum torque 400 Nm). The T5 engine will offer power of 254 hp and torque of 350 Nm.
For the new XC90, a line of Drive-E engines will be offered, which demonstrate an excellent combination of high power and fuel efficiency. The main distinguishing feature of the Drive-E engine family is that all engines are built on a four-cylinder architecture.
