Now you can complete a deal, get a fresh vehicle registration certificate, and even order license plates of the DI series in just a few taps in the mobile app.
Mykhailo Fedorov, head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, emphasized that the new service significantly simplifies the process, eliminating the need to stand in queues and waste time on unnecessary formalities.
As reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, within the first day of the registries' operation, over 4,000 cars were processed. The main advantages of registration via Diia are speed and convenience. The process looks like this:
- arrange a meeting with the counterparty at any convenient location;
- enter the transaction details into the app;
- make the payment, then exchange keys and documents.
Once the transaction is completed, the digital version of the vehicle registration certificate instantly appears in the Diia app, while the plastic document and new license plates will be delivered by mail.
Fedorov specifically highlighted several significant benefits of this service:
- Automatic vehicle check. The app independently checks the car for liens, prohibitions, or being on the wanted list. If any issues are found, the deal will not proceed, protecting the buyer.
- Unique DI series plates. Such license plates can only be obtained during re-registration via Diia.
- Time savings. The online procedure eliminates the need to visit service centers or resort to intermediaries.
