It should be said right away: some of the exhibits disappeared almost immediately after this garage was first shown to the public. Where they went and under what circumstances is a question that has no answer.

Now Yanukovych's garage looks like this:

After the fire, a significant part of the rare exhibits was damaged. According to preliminary data, the fire most severely damaged the wooden elements of the building, as well as several cars that stood closest to the site of the explosion and the scattering of debris.

Only some foreign cars were lucky enough to survive partially, including a Chevrolet Impala and a Bentley S1. Currently, experts continue to calculate the damage and assess the condition of the remaining cars.

What was in the collection before the fire

Yanukovych's garage amazed with its diversity: there you could see both old Soviet models and genuine foreign rarities.

Soviet classics

  • The collection opened with a ZAZ-965, followed by a Moskvich-401 and a whole range of cars from Gorky:
  • GAZ-21 Volga — individual cars in original condition were valued at up to 40 thousand euros.
  • GAZ-M12 ZIM and several GAZ-13 Chaikas, including a rare open-top GAZ-13B.
  • Two government ZILs, including the unique ZIL-410-441 — one of three in the world that ended up in private hands. It was this one that burned down completely...

  • Chevrolet Impala Coupe from 1963 — from 30 to 45 thousand euros.
  • Bentley S1 — up to 55 thousand euros.
  • Ford Classic Coupe and Dampf Kraft Wagen — up to 50 thousand euros, although the Ford turned out to be a replica.

In addition, the collection included unusual SUVs, motorcycles, as well as military and ambulance vehicles.
