In Germany, a driver avoided a speeding fine from a road camera thanks to a pigeon that covered the driver's face in the photo.
According to German law, if the driver is not visible in the photo, no fine is issued.
The incident occurred in the city of Viersen. A motorist was driving a Renault Twingo at a speed of 50 km/h on a road section where the permissible limit was 30 km/h. In Germany, a fine of 105 euros is provided for such an offense.
"We expect that the driver will take this as a kind of 'sign from above' and will become more cautious in the future," noted a representative of the local police department.
