The duties of the State Automobile Inspectorate employees will include: patrolling national highways and monitoring compliance with traffic rules.
All this information was brought to the attention of the public during the presentation of the concept of the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. It was presented by Arsen Avakov, the head of the Ministry.
The presentation noted that the functions of the patrol service for maintaining public order and road safety will be combined with the State Automobile Inspectorate.
In addition, the presentation contains information about the modernization of the material and technical base. That is, the introduction of various technical means of traffic control will be carried out.
