The overpass replaced the inconvenient traffic light junction near Park Alley, which for a long time remained the main source of traffic jams on Naberezhnoe Shosse.
During the lunchtime, road workers were already changing signs and turning off traffic lights. Now, drivers coming from the Paton Bridge side, in order to get to Park Alley, just need to take the right lane in advance and not miss the exit onto the overpass.
The length of the structure is just over 361 meters, with traffic organized in two lanes. The renovated interchange was officially opened by Alexander Popov.
