On Wednesday, April 11, as part of the opening of the conceptual showroom "Avtocentr na Moskovskom", an official presentation of the new product took place, which the management of the Zaporozhye Automobile Plant expects to make a bestseller of its brand in the near future.
The model with an optimistic name, which is a slightly updated first-generation Chevrolet Aveo, will go on sale in two body styles - sedan and hatchback. For each of them, three trim levels are provided: Base, LS and LT. As reported by ZAZ representatives, already now more than half of the components and parts for Vida are manufactured at Ukrainian enterprises.
Under the hood of the car, two petrol engines with a volume of 1.4 and 1.5 liters can be installed. The power of the first unit is 94 horsepower, the second - 84 horsepower. The engines are paired with a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic.
The starting price of the new product is 90,880 hryvnias. The maximum configuration of the ZAZ Vida with automatic transmission is estimated by dealers at 117,280 hryvnias.
